How do I care for my Skida gear?
The Vermont Collection
This includes our Alpine & Running Products! The best way to clean these products is to hand wash cold, and line dry. This will help prolong the life of your Skida gear.
The Cashmere Collection
For the Skida Cashmere Collection, we recommend dry cleaning or, for best results, delicately hand washing with cashmere and wool-specific shampoo from The Laundress. Do not machine wash or dry - this can cause damage to the product.
The Chateau Collection

The Country Mitt
According to our friends at Vermont Glove: "First things first, buy some conditioner to have on hand. When your gloves get wet, dry them low and slow - avoid drying gloves under or near direct heat sources as it can dry out the leather, pulling out the natural oils present in goat leather (which keep it supple & dexterous). Every now and then - after a long, wet day in the woods; or every few weeks - condition your gloves in order to replenish the natural oils in the leather."
